Editorial policy

Who writes what you read here, where the numbers come from, and what happens when something turns out to be wrong.

Who produces this content

Pages on Forklift Safety Data are researched and written by the site's research team and published under a team byline. Statistical pages are generated from the committed source datasets described on the methodology page; every number on those pages is computed from a snapshot of the named source, never written by hand.

Sourcing rules

Every numeric claim on this site traces to a named, dated, licensed source. Editorial guides cite their sources at the end of each page; data pages name the source, series code, and retrieval date inline. Claims about commercial products summarize the vendor's own published materials, are attributed as such, and carry the snapshot date of the page they came from. We sell none of the products we compare.

Review and updates

Data pages refresh when the underlying source dataset is re-snapshotted; the current data generation date is August 21, 2026 and appears on every data page. Editorial pages carry a published date and an updated date; the updated date changes only for substantive edits, never for cosmetic ones. Pages describing regulations are reviewed against the cited rule text before any update.

Corrections

Found an error? Email [email protected] with the page URL and the issue. Verified factual errors are corrected in the page itself and the updated date is bumped; disputes about a source figure are resolved against the original source dataset.

Advertising and independence
